When you open a Prime Shares account, you become an official member of East Traverse and become eligible to enjoy all the benefits we have to offer. With a $5 minimum balance, no service charge, competitive interest rates and easy access through your ATM and MasterMoney Debit Cards, this convenient account will help you save money!

Money Market Savings

This savings account is designed for those who maintain a higher savings balance and make less frequent withdrawals. Monthly dividends are paid at a competitive interest rate slightly higher than our Prime Shares rate.

Share Draft Checking

East Traverse offers the most affordable checking account around! We have no monthly service charge, no per check fee and your first 50 checks are free -- all with only a $5 minimum balance. And, if you are over age 55, you can receive your checks completely free (if chosen from a special selection)!

Share Certificates (CD)

These investments are ideal for long-term savings but require only a short-term commitment! You can choose from a wide variety of terms and interest rates and, best of all, you can open an ETCFCU Share Certificate with as little as $500 for six months.

IRAs and IRA Certificates

Individual Retirement Accounts will help you save for your future. Setting up an East Traverse IRA lets you enjoy important tax advantages now and will supplement your pension and Social Security benefits when you retire. Our IRA certificates offer higher savings interest rates for your long-term investments.

Christmas and Vacation Club

Planning ahead for your holiday shopping or next vacation will be easy with the help of our club accounts! These accounts keep your special occasion savings separate from other accounts, allow you to make deposits as you wish and pay you an interest dividend. Christmas clubs are offered October 1 through September 30 of each year.

Direct Deposit

Enjoy the convenience of direct deposit of your paycheck, social security check or other disbursement into your checking or savings account. This hassle-free, electronic transaction saves you unnecessary trips to the credit union.

ATM Card

Apply for an East Traverse ATM card for making deposits and withdrawals at any ATM (Automated Teller Machine), 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Rest assured knowing your card is accessible only by way of your own PIN, making it completely secure.

Debit MasterCard

If you have a checking account with us, you can apply for an East Traverse Debit MasterCard. With the MasterCard logo, your card will be accepted as a means of payment at any merchant where MasterCard is accepted. Instead of accruing a balance, the amount of your purchase is automatically deducted right from your checking account. Your Debit MasterCard also comes with a PIN, which allows you to use it at any ATM just like an ATM card.

CU*TALK Audio Response

This toll-free telephone number (1-800-860-5704) allows you direct access to your account information at any time of the day or night. The audio response system allows you to get account balances, hear most recent transactions, find out if a certain check number has cleared, transfer funds and more! Have your account number and PIN ready to log into the system.

CU@*HOME PC Home Banking

Similar to our CU*Talk Audio Response system, PC Home Banking allows account access anytime in the comfort of your own home! Once connected, you can access your account information to get balances, view and print out checks that have cleared, make transfers and more. Simply click on "OnLine Account Access" to enter the system or call us for set-up instructions.

Kids and Teen Clubs

Kids up to age 15 may take part in the ETCFCU Kids and Teen Clubs. Once enrolled, you will receive a special club membership card and a savings passbook to help you keep track of your savings progress. Each time you make a deposit of at least $1 for Kids Club or $5 for the Teen Club, you will get a club stamp in your passbook. When you turn in a full passbook, your name will be entered in a quarterly drawing fora really great prize! Kids Club members will also receive special birthday cards and quarterly newsletters.
